Stanton, CA, August 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On August 22, 2011, Xclaimed Ministries received recognition by the Church of the Nazarene Headquarters as an official Compassionate Ministries Center. Paul Karanick, co-founder, said, “This is a prodigious confirmation for Xclaimed Ministries as we pursue the work that God has called us to do. We especially want to thank the Anaheim District Superintendent, Rev. Rollie Miller, and the Anaheim District Advisory Board for their recognition and co-approval of this new step.”

This news came just two days before the ministry began another part of their commitment towards helping the youth and teens in the community as they announced the Xclaimed Ministries Scholarship Fund. This program will allow people to donate specifically to the Scholarship Fund (still tax deductible) to help provide scholarships to students in need. Karanick said, “After speaking to many families and students in the communities we visit, we realized that the economy is preventing many from even going to a local community college. Anyone can donate to help us help students through college; together we can encourage and support the next professionals of the community.”

As Xclaimed Ministries continues to connect with children and families who need assistance, they are looking into a foster care/family living program that they can offer as part of their outreach to the community. Obviously, this program will take months, if not years, to establish and they will need support and prayers as they prepare to help in broader ways than they had even imagined. Karanick stated, “We see the economy putting many people on the streets, living in cars and multiple families living in a single motel room; it isn’t right for us to act like we can’t see it - we need to reach out and help those in need.”

If you would like to help financially, Xclaimed Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible. You may also visit Xclaimed on the web at http://www.xclaimed.org or call (949)248-9999.
