PR.com)-- With lustrous color and dynamic style, artist Cliff Speaks creates paintings that exude excitement, harmony and complexity. Inspired by artistic movements such as Abstract Expressionism, Cubism and Impressionism, Speaks’ work eloquently displays an influence from these schools of art, while infusing fresh life into their ideas with his own modern take on composition. Speaks’ work showcases instruments and musicians and explores a merging of musicality and painting. The paintings possess their own kind of rhythm in the color choices and use of sinuous line. Speaks engages in a conversation of sorts between music and art. His paintings are a continual exploration; as he states, “to me a work of art is a temporary conclusion to an ongoing idea.” Cliff Speaks has a degree in Graphic Design and has been painting professionally for five years. He currently lives and works in Jackson, Mississippi.
