InTopic Media Builds Brand Awareness with New Micro-Banner Technology

Micro-Banners Increase Consumer Engagement, Says Innovative Search Engine Marketer Jayson Hahn.

InTopic Media Builds Brand Awareness with New Micro-Banner Technology
Atlanta, GA, October 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- A 2010 study from Adweek Media and Harris Poll found many consumers ignore banner ads, despite increases in online advertising innovation and creativity. A recent Webtrends report shows consumer interest in Internet Advertising is declining, as advertising costs increase.

But this is all about to change, according to Jayson Hahn, co-founder of Atlanta pay-per-click/cost-per-acquisition (PPC/CPA) based ad network firm InTopic Media.

“Out of all Internet marketing channels, online advertising ranks as the most ignored. At InTopic Media, our goal is to develop a highly focused PPC/CPA technology aimed at changing these statistics. The solution we devised is Micro-Banners, a type of 'dual-purpose' advertising which replaces boring text ads with small company branded banner ads that support the company’s PPC/CPA efforts, rather than detracting from them.”

Micro-banners may just revolutionize the Internet’s PPC/CPA industry, given that marketers face increasing pressure to improve click-through rates (CTRs) beyond the industry average of .09 percent. In other words, any old PPC ad won’t do. Today, consumers already deluged with advertising demand a compelling reason to click through. Micro-banners offer a highly relevant solution, tapping into remarketing, the practice of targeting tighter audiences already familiar with a brand; in old-school parlance, a “warm lead” who is more likely to recognize the brand and click the ad to see what’s new or take advantage of a special offer.

Hahn and his highly qualified CPA/PPC technology team appear to be on the fast track. A BIA/Kelsey forecast predicts only about 30 percent of small business marketing budgets will be spent on the traditional outlets of radio, TV, and print ads in 2012, down from 50 percent. Instead, technological solutions will push small businesses to spend based on performance, connecting through social networking, mobile marketing and email campaigns in an effort to decrease individual customer acquisition costs while maximizing long-term value.
