NBS And Windstream Announce Partnership

Telecom Providers Collaborate to Offer Multisite MPLS Solutions Nationwide

Wayne, NJ, October 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- NBS announced today that it has expanded its MPLS Network coverage by leveraging Windstream’s 16 state MPLS network, via an interconnection with them at 56 Marietta Street in Atlanta, GA. Based in Wayne, NJ, NBS specializes in private-line, metro Ethernet and multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) solutions, as well as SIP services, hosted VoIP, and traditional TDM services. NBS is interconnecting with Windstream's next generation intelligent network to allow expanded delivery of a wide variety of advanced value added services to its customer base.

To meet the multisite business needs of its customers nationwide NBS is augmenting the breadth of its footprint by implementing this new Network-to-Network Interface (NNI) with Windstream's advanced MPLS IP network. NBS will use Windstream as its primary network services connectivity provider to connect data centers and provide network access solutions throughout the Southeastern United States. NBS will be able to utilize this new NNI for Ethernet and T1 connectivity, which will provide fast, secure access solutions to millions of business locations in support of its customers’ MPLS-based data and voice communication needs.

"We have worked with Windstream for quite some time and have been impressed with not only their network reach, but also their professionalism and dedication to their customers,” said NBS President Russell P. Markman. “This new network integration at 56 Marietta Street is a natural extension of our network expansion into the Southeast," he later added. “We are greatly complimented by NBS' decision to entrust their end users' network needs with Windstream,” stated Trey Allen, Director of Carrier Sales for Windstream. “We look forward to growing our relationship with NBS in an ever accelerating fashion," Mr. Allen commented.
