WiFi Sensor for Lego Mindstorms NXT Has Complete Utilities for Internet Applications

Dexter Industries Publishes Software Tutorial to Find Website IP Addresses, Set Baud Rate of New Lego Wifi Sensor

Stafford, VA, November 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The new WiFi Sensor for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT is a wifi communication device for robots and robotic education. Dexter Industries published instructions on how to use its new WiFi Sensor to ping websites for IP addresses, measure Internet connection speeds, and set high baud communication rates.

Previous instructions published by Dexter Industries show detailed examples of how to use the WiFi to ping for data using the RobotC language. Dexter Industries celebrated the release of the the WiFi Sensor on November 4th by proclaiming “WiFi Week.” Each day it will publish a new tutorial which will demonstrate the WiFi Sensor’s capability.

The Lego Wifi sensor is specifically geared towards middle-school and high-school STEM programs. In particular it will have educational applications in high school physics, math, and engineering.
