New York, NY, April 30, 2007 --(PR.com)-- On May 11th, NYC’s Undead will walk the streets around Union Square. Zombies coming from as far as Allentown have registered for the event which is thought to be the first of a yearly celebration.

ActionVance and a small team of horror fanatics are organizing the event. Calling it a Zombie Flash Mob, the group is set to meet in an undisclosed location near Union Square on May 11th at 6:30 PM. The itinerary includes some harmless wandering about, then a trip to the local theater to see 28 Weeks Later, ending the night with Brain Hemorrhages at Black Bear Lodge.

“I came home to find my kitchen covered in blood. It was horrifying!” says ActionVance’s wife, Gina. “The response has been so great that he [Action Vance] is preparing fake blood by the gallon.”

The event is not the first time zombies have visited Manhattan in this manner. Action Vance attended a similar event a few years ago for the premier of “Dawn Of The Dead”.

“I had a great time doing this in 2004. On that night, there were easily over 100 zombies… it was amazing in its own gross, special way,” says Action Vance.
