Henderson Franklin Names Four New Stockholders

Southwest Florida Attorneys Edward Canterbury, Erin-Houck-Toll, Richard Mancini and Mark Schultz are newest named stockholders at Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A.

Fort Myers, FL, December 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Southwest Florida law firm of Henderson Franklin Starnes & Holt, PA is pleased to announce that Attorneys Edward Canterbury, Erin Houck-Toll, Richard Mancini and Mark Schultz were recently elected as stockholders of the firm.

Canterbury is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate lawyer and concentrates his practice in all areas of real estate law, including commercial and residential development, acquisitions, finance, survey matters, title insurance and commercial leases. His experience includes representation of developers, builders, governmental agencies, lending institutions, non-profit corporations and national title insurance underwriters. Canterbury is also a regular contributor to the firm’s blog, The Legal Scoop on Southwest Florida Real Estate. He is President of the Southwest Florida Real Estate Council, a member of the Real Estate Investment Society and graduate of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Leadership class. Houck-Toll is Florida Bar Board Certified in Tax Law and concentrates her practice in the areas of federal and state taxation, including representing taxpayers before the IRS and Florida Department of Revenue. She also assists clients in many aspects of business planning, health care law matters, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property issues. Houck-Toll serves on the Executive Council for the Tax Section of The Florida Bar, on the Board of the Empowerment of Alliance of Southwest Florida and on the Board of Trustees for the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium. She also serves on the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Women in Business Committee and is Chair of the Chamber’s 2012 Leadership class. Mancini is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, banking & financial institutions and mediation and arbitration. He represents clients in complex business disputes, contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, insurance/annuity disputes, as well as real estate litigation and foreclosures. Mancini also handles contested estate and trust matters, breach of fiduciary duty litigation, and representation of the beneficiaries of estates and trusts. He is also a FINRA certified arbitrator and represents clients in securities and investor related disputes. Mancini is an adjunct professor at Hodges University, Chairman of the Bonita Springs Estero Economic Development Council, President of the Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled and an active volunteer for Friends of Foster Children of Southwest Florida. Schultz focuses his practice in the defense of design professionals in civil suits, construction and design professional contract drafting, and defense of design professional in administrative complaints before the Board of Professional Engineers and the Board of Architecture and Interior Design. His experience includes complex litigation involving medical malpractice cases, torts, insurance defense disputes, business dispute cases, and lien law and collection matters involving design professional and claims of lien. Schultz speaks frequently locally and nationally to design professionals and insurance companies on lien law, contract management, premises liability and defense issues. He is a member of the Young Lawyer's Division of The Florida Bar, an allied member of the American Institute for Architects, Southwest Florida Chapter, and serves on the board of Visually Impaired Persons of Southwest Florida.
