Mompreneur Launches Sort.a.Neat: the Latest Product to Organize, Sort, and Tackle Family Laundry

Atlanta Mompreneurs launch a new laundry organizer just in time for spring cleaning, gifts for the graduate, new babies and new brides. It has received attention from the local chapter of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), is carried in local boutiques, and has national exposure through the winter edition of Solutions Catalogue.

Marietta, GA, February 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta Mom Launches a National Product -- Sort-a-Neat, Helps Organize, Sort, and Deliver Family Laundry

Sort-a-neat is an organizing laundry bag that can be used as an insert to a laundry basket and as a standalone laundry organizer. The built in dividers separate laundry into three individual compartments. Using the attached handles and mesh drawstring top, sort-a-neat allows a basket full of laundry to be carried with one hand. Removed from the laundry basket, sort-a-neat will hold its shape and keep laundry folded neatly inside.

The average family washes 7-9 loads of laundry a week, up to 400 loads a year. Even more time is spent folding and sorting - laundry is a never ending task. Sort-a-neat is the brainchild of Kristen Hoskyn, a stay-at-home mother of three who wanted to make her life easier. “I came up with the idea out of frustration. I would have stacks of infant clothes falling over in one basket. Or I’d have 5 people digging through stacks in several different baskets, resulting in more piles to refold. I just wanted something to organize it all!” After several years of using her prototype and frustrated at being unable to find something similar in the market, sort-a-neat was launched with business partner, Kari Knudsen in August 2011.

Used with or without a basket, this cotton twill bag separates laundry into three sections and fits in most laundry baskets up to 16”x24”. Laundry can be stacked above the height of the basket and secured with the mesh, drawstring top. Great for carrying multiple loads around the house or to and from the Laundromat, organizing several sets of laundry into individual bags, and perfect for college kids to transport their laundry to and from their dorms.

MB Nice, LLC founded by Kristin Hoskyn produces the sort-a-neat organizational laundry bag. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, sort-a-neat has been picked up for the 2012 Solutions winter catalog. It has been featured in parenting blogs such as RealMomsRealViews.com and the newsletter of professional organizers, The Real Order. In October 2011 sort-a-neat was featured at the Southeast chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
