Black Rose Writing Presents The Guardian Chronicles: Emergence by Lewis Keating

“Downtown was practically deserted. Danny ran towards the city market. Sirens and screams could be heard in the distance. Obviously, the police were still in the process of clearing out the area.” -The Levees Break

Charleston, SC, March 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Our world is overrun. Guardians are needed once more.

Danny McPherson is a young man who is perfectly content on allowing life to pass him by. Few friends and a meaningless job. Only when a stranger from his past re-enters his life and brings news of world changing events to come does Danny cast aside his normal life to become the first Guardian in almost a thousand years. His journey takes him across the mist into a forgotten realm where ancient beings aid him in unlocking the power that exists in all mankind. Witness the first chapter of Danny’s rise to legend as he leads a new generation of Guardians.
