Andy-John Kalkounos of Chicago Prime Steakhouse Appointed Vice-Chairman of the Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau Board of Directors

Schaumburg, IL, July 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Chicago Prime Steakhouse’s Managing Partner, Andy-John Kalkounos, was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau’s Board of Directors during the organization’s Annual Meeting held on June 21, 2012. As an officer of the Bureau’s Executive Committee, Kalkounos will take an active role in shaping the operational objectives of the one of Illinois’ largest not-for-profit destination marketing organizations.

In 2011, Kalkounos began a three-year term on the Board of Directors, which includes executives from the area’s leading hotels, restaurants, attractions and educational institutions, as well as, mayors and community public officials. Prior to his appointment, Kalkounos worked closely with the Bureau to promote Chicago Prime Steakhouse, since opening their current Schaumburg location in 2009.

In addition to his role as Managing Partner of Chicago Prime Steakhouse, Kalkounos is credited as proprietor and consultant for several businesses including Chicago Prime Realty & Development Corporation and Kalkounos & Associates, an executive recruitment firm. Kalkounos earned his Bachelor of Science at Butler University’s College of Business Administration and has been honored as a “Distinguished Alumni“ by Harper College.
