The purpose of these events is to centralize and establish annual revenue generating activities in association with the established MLK Federal Holiday and the weekend that precedes the holiday with the purpose of promoting the economic growth, prestige and influence along those city streets and corridors named after Martin Luther King Jr. throughout the United States.

Individuals and businesses will have the opportunity to pay tribute to an Honorable Man who dedicated his life to being a “Drum Major for Justice,” while reaching out into the broader community through a day of fun, food, and competition.

The participant target is centric to Sports Enthusiasts, people and Businesses wanting to try new things, people who want to passively participate and those that want to actively participate in supporting a worthy cause and healthy remembrance.

The Legacy® events will be open to the public, open to expansion, and each will be tailored to meet the specific interests and demographics of the each participating city or region.
