Samurai Karate Studio to Host Anti-Bully Workshop

Columbia, SC, October 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sensei Chris Feldt, owner and chief instructor for Samurai Karate Studio, located in Richland Northeast, Columbia, South Carolina, announced today his school will be hosting a anti-bully workshop on Saturday, October 27th at 11:00am.

"October is Bully Awareness month and we are offering this workshop to help bring attention to this growing problem in our community," commented Sensei Feldt. "It is estimated that close to 30% of all children will be bullied at least once by the time they graduate high school."

The workshop will focus on non-violent ways you can defeat the bully, including body language, eye contact, and the power of your voice.

"This workshop is designed to give a child the tools with how to deal with a bully without resorting to fighting," commented Feldt.

The workshop fee is $50.00, however, if you bring a friend it's free.

"I am trying something new this time, by offering the workshop for free if you bring a friend," stated Feldt. "It is my hope to reach as many children as possible and make it as affordable as possible."

Due to the content that is covered, this workshop is geared to children 7 years of age and older.

If you would like to attend this event, you must register by calling 803-200-1140.
