Vinton Cerf to Lead International Dais of Experts Participating in More Than 1,500 Presentations Dedicated to the Advance of Next Wave Internet, Cloud Computing & Communications Technologies

New York, NY, November 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- IEEE GLOBECOM 2012, the premier international conference dedicated to global communications, will hold its 55th annual event from December 3 - 7 at the fabled Disneyland® Hotel in Anaheim, California with more than 1,500 technical and business presentations focused on the advancement of next wave Internet and communications technologies. Among the conference’s dais of expert speakers will be Vinton Cerf, the celebrated computer scientist most commonly known as one of the "fathers of the Internet,” who will not only participate in the conference’s keynote program, but also several panel discussions exploring the expansion of the latest IPv6, smart grid and cloud computing protocols and applications.

IEEE GLOBECOM 2012 will begin on Monday, December 3 with the first of two days of industry and technical tutorials and workshops detailing the newest research in areas such as mobile cloud computing, small cell and wireless cognitive radio networks, M2M in smart grid and smart cities, future world mobility management and the “Green Internet of Things.”

The conference will then officially commence on Tuesday, December 4 with Dr. Henry Samueli, co-founder of Broadcom Corporation and the company’s current Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Technology Officer, delivering his keynote on “Connecting Everything: Dream Becomes Reality.”

On the following morning, Vinton Cerf will offer his address on “Internet Challenges 2012-2020” with numerous international communications experts speaking over the next few days. This includes:

In addition, Tuesday through Thursday will also entail a comprehensive schedule of nearly 1,500 senior-level addresses, business panels and technical presentations covering the entire range of global communications.
