Charlotte Attorney to Serve as National Chair for United Cerebral Palsy Board of Trustees

Charlotte, NC, November 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Edward G. (“Woody”) Connette has been selected to chair the national Board of Trustees for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP).

With 18 members, including four officers, the Board of Trustees is a diverse and active group that plays a critical role at UCP, helping to guide the organization and its efforts to move UCP forward toward its goal to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities by supporting children and adults every day.

Connette assumed his position as chair of the national Board of Trustees for UCP in September and has committed for a two-year term.
