360 Education Solutions' Master Educators 2012 - Writing Contest Winners

The winners for 360 Education Solutions' 2012 Writing Contest have been chosen, and the Master Educators themselves have been informed. 360 Education Solutions would like to proudly announce the 2012 Master Educator Winners.

Chandler, AZ, December 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- 360 Education Solutions' 2012 teacher writing contest, which was released earlier last month, was a call for testimonials from the Masters themselves on why continuing their education was an important step in their teaching career.

The contest closed last Monday and the selected winners were contacted yesterday. The prizes of $500, $350, and $250 are sure to be a welcome holiday bonus for these hard-working and well-deserving teachers.

The writing contest was a chance for educators to offer their personal testament as to why continuing their education was important for them, how it influenced their teaching and how it can influence other teachers and education for the better. And they did - teachers from all over the country wrote in to share their personal stories - testaments to the challenges of holding the titles of both student and teacher while persevering and demonstrating an incredible dedication and passion for education and learning. Those who participated were teachers who were in the process of pursuing their higher education as well as those who had received their master's or doctoral degrees. 360 Education Solutions received responses from educators from all different backgrounds, teaching in all types of environments and classrooms - ranging from experiences teaching in SPED and ESL classrooms to teaching at juvenile facilities.

As an advocate group founded to help assist teachers looking to continue and pursue their higher education online, this year's topic, on the importance of higher education for teachers, was very important to 360 Education Solutions, and after much deliberation, the top three essays on how continued education made these teachers better and more competent professionals in their field were chosen. The winners are: Jennifer Roche from Platte Valley Youth Services Center in Greenely, CO, Doris Perry from Hayes Elementary School in Oklahoma City, OK and Ronda Williams from Portsmouth Elementary School in Portsmouth, OH. These everyday and extraordinary teachers believe in education and embody the saying, "You cannot be a master teacher until you are a master learner." Congratulations to the winners, and 360 Education Solutions would also like to thank all of the educators who participated - all of them are amazing, inspirational and dedicated individuals who deserve the highest recognition.
