PR.com)-- Billie Redmond, president of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, has announced that Jim Harris, commercial investment broker at the firm, has been named to the City of Raleigh’s Appearance Commission, a committee established in 1973 to improve the visual quality and aesthetic characteristics of Raleigh. In this position, Harris will serve as a liaison for communicating the recommendations and activities of the commission to the public, and for encouraging community interest and participation in city appearance issues.
The Appearance Commission is a 15-member board comprised of community leaders who have experience in architecture, landscape architecture, horticulture, city planning, or related design fields. Harris, a Raleigh native, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in History and Geography. He joined Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties in 2005.
