Beefy the Skateboarding Bulldog to Launch New York City Inspired Skateboard for Dogs and People
Orlando, FL, January 03, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Beefy the Bulldog gained popularity through a series of YouTube videos which led to a featured spot on CBS’ reality show Dogs in the City. Beefy uses skateboarding as a platform to raise awareness for Long Island Bulldog Rescue.
When Beefy is not busy shredding, he lends his good looks to the advertising world. He has made numerous appearances including Ripley’s Believe it or Not, a Jimmy Choo web commercial directed by Terry Richardson, Clark’s Shoes, and most recently, an Almased commercial which aired for the 2012 holiday season in the US and Europe.
Beefy’s new skateboard is an ode to the original pool boards designed in Los Angeles with artwork of Beefy and the New York City skyline. It can be customized for humans, or outfitted with wider wheels and trucks to accommodate our shorter canine friends.
Beefy will debut his board at the Blue Sky Longboards booth at the Surf and Skate Expo in Orlando, FL from January 10th-12th. Beefy will be onsite to skateboard, take photos with fans, and autograph his new board. The boards will be available for purchase at the Expo and online at www.blueskylongboards.com following the expo.
