Storage Made Easy Release Free Windows 8 RT App for Unifying Cloud Storage

London, United Kingdom, January 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Storage Made Easy today announced that they had released a new client App optimised for Windows 8 PC's and Tablets. The App offer unified access to over 35 Cloud Storage Providers.

The App has been designed from the ground up to run on Windows 8 with particular focus on touch and Windows 8 tablet users.

Storage Made Easy CEO Jim Liddle stated, "Our existing Windows desktop suite of Apps is already Windows 8 compatible but we wanted to put some effort into providing a heavily optimised windows 8 version that fitted into the whole ethos of windows 8 and which in particular was optimised for touch and tablets.

"As well as unifying files content from over 35 different Cloud Providers the App enables users to create business collaboration workspaces as well as providing easy access to shared folders spaces for the SME hosted and on-premise Cloud File Server users.

"Our product set is widely used in a white label fashion by service providers and the addition of the Windows 8 RT client is something we have been getting asked for so we are pleased to be able to responsively deliver this."

The Storage Made Easy Windows RT App is named 'Cloud File Explorer' in the Windows 8 store and is available for free. Free users can register a free account and receive 5GB of storage as well as the ability to add up to 3 clouds to manage.
