)-- The Body Art Training Group announced today that it has become a sponsor of the 2013 MusInk Tattoo Convention and Music Festival. This event will be held from March 8 to March 10, 2013 at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA.
Body Art Training Group representatives at MusInk will be available to answer questions about body art safety, bloodborne pathogens training, and exposure control plans.
Kathy Hartman, the owner of the Body Art Training Group, is already actively involved in helping make this year’s MusInk a success. As the MusInk health coordinator, she is expediting the submission of body art practitioner registration applications to the Orange County Health Department.
The Body Art Training Group was started in 2007 and is recognized nationally as a leading provider of body art bloodborne pathogens classes.
The Body Art Training Group's online bloodborne pathogens classes comply with the training requirements of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030 and the California Safe Body Art Act (AB 300).
These classes have been approved or recognized by: the American Electrology Association, by many California counties, the State of Hawaii Department of Health, the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Kansas Board of cosmetology, the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, the Mississippi State Department of Health, the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, the Oregon Health Licensing Agency, the Washington State Department of Licensing, and the Denver Department of Environmental Health.
The California Department of Public Health has designated Your Training Place Online, an affiliate of the Body Art Training Group, as a continuing education Accreditation Agency for registered environmental health specialists.
