)-- WTS-NC Triangle Chapter’s annual scholarship luncheon will be held February 28 at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh. WTS provides scholarships and outreach programs that support young women entering Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) secondary education curriculums and careers. At the luncheon, the Triangle Chapter will honor the following 2012 graduate, undergraduate, and high school scholarship recipients.
WTS Leadership Legacy Graduate Scholarship: Myeongyeon Son, Duke University
Helene M. Overly Memorial Graduate Scholarship: Anne Holzem, NC State University
Molitoris Leadership Undergraduate Scholarship: Malinda Bradley, NC State University
Transportation YOU High School Scholarship: Naomi Reeves Jordan, Franklinton High
Special guest speaker and Raleigh Mayor, Nancy McFarlane, will speak about the state of transportation in Raleigh and the importance of STEM education, volunteerism, and the advancement of women.
