ACTHA Trail Ride and Obstacle Course Benefiting White Horse Youth Ranch

The American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) and local rider, Judy Keith, team up to support WHY Ranch, Las Vegas' only free horsemanship program for socially-challenged youth.

Las Vegas, NV, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With a spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip the Henderson River Mountain Ride is an obstacle trail ride that will take place on April 6th, 2013.

"We are delighted to put on this event to support the WHY Ranch. They do an amazing job with socially-challenged youth here in Vegas," commented trail ride organizer, Judy Keith.

A new state of the art equestrian park with round pen and warm up arena will be the starting and ending point of the ride, and short area of the ride can be a little rocky, so boots are recommended.

The overnight stalls are great but limited. First come first served. Plenty of room for RVs but no hook ups.

The Las Vegas Strip is just a short drive for those wishing to try their luck.

A special presentation on how to improve your scores will be given by Destry Adams of Ultimate Horsemanship after the ride.

Please note, the event is limited to 100 riders so early registration is essential.
