)-- Freelancers The Series - an Exciting new Fantasy Action Adventure web series - launches a Kickstarter campaign for finishing funds.
Ignatius Fischer, owner of Witness Pictures and creator of Freelancers The Series, recently made the decision to open up funding to the fans and public via Kickstarter.com, a crowd-source funding platform for creative projects. From films, games, music, art, design and technology, Kickstarter.com is full of ambitious, innovative and imaginative projects that are brought to life through the direct support of the public.
"Since we already have 80% of Season One in the can and an online distribution deal with RogueFlix.com, everyone can feel confidant the project will be completed," Ignatius stated, "and by providing an array of unique rewards on Kickstarter like limited edition t-shirts, signed prints, actual props, replicas, DVDs, Blu-rays and music, I felt Kickstarter would be a great way to both promote the show and engage our audience by allowing any future fan a fun, and for us, very helpful, way to involve themselves with the production."
Freelancers The Series is packed with an array of rising Hollywood stars in all departments: seasoned Hollywood composer Dave Holden, sound designer Rian Balvin, award-winning editor Bradly Greenwell, visual effects supervisor/co-producer Derek Nickell, wardrobe designer Debradawn Shockey and costumer Dana Winchell, producer Brian Dillon, writer/director Ignatius Fischer, and a cast featuring the lovely and talented Caitlin Geier, award-winning Ivan Borntrager and actor/entrepreneur (owner of Charlie Boy Productions) Nicholas Givanio, along with a large supporting cast including Marcus Natividad, Paul L. Benton, Jeff Doba, Holiday Kinard, Jared Moore, Mayra Rodriguez, Ava Brunini and Jody Mortara. "This ensemble of cast and crew is extremely talented and probably the most dedicated group of artists I have ever worked with and it shows on screen," states Ignatius.
