PR.com)-- Boulder Soup Works, the fresh organic soup company, today announced that it will introduce three new soup varieties at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA on March 8-11, 2013. The three new soups join seven existing fresh, organic and gluten-free varieties available for retailers and foodservice operators nationwide.
The three new soups include:
· Green Chili Corn Chowder – A chunky southwestern favorite that perfectly balances the medium heat of roasted green chilies and the sweetness of fresh corn.
· Butternut Squash with Sage – A savory and rich fall classic with a pinch of sage and a splash of cream. Vegetarian.
· Soy Ginger with Shiitake – An Asian fusion of soy, sherry wine and brown rice vinegar is combined with the earthiness of shiitake mushrooms, carrots and tofu. Vegan.
The three new recipes were customer and retailer driven. “We developed these new soups in response to our customers wanting more choices, and our retail partners wanting new flavors for the category,” said Greg Powers, CEO of Boulder Soup Works. “It’s a win-win for everyone.”
Boulder Soup Works offers ten varieties of fresh, organic and gluten-free soup in 24-ounce containers with vegan, vegetarian and dairy-free options. Current soups include Roasted Tomato Basil, Red Lentil Dahl, Garden Minestrone, Potato Leek, Carrot Ginger with Coconut, White Bean with Tomato, and Green Pea with Dill. The soup retails for $4.99-$7.99 at natural and conventional grocers, and is available in 128-ounce totes for foodservice operators.
