WorldClips.TV Breaks the Stock Footage Business Model

"Our SD is still great stock footage, but we think it’s best future use is by cost-conscious independents who want to distribute their creations through video upload websites such as YouTube, Vimeo, Blip and others. It’s also a great way for website designers to put some zip in their creations instead of using static still shots.” -Gary Isaacson, CEO-WorldClips.TV

WorldClips.TV Breaks the Stock Footage Business Model
Tubac, AZ, March 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- After two months of beta testing, www.WorldClips.TV announced today that their direct download stock footage website is fully functional and offers a pricing policy unique to the industry; unlimited downloads, no promotion period, for $25 US for the whole year.

Company CEO Gary Isaacson explained, “99% of video content creation is now done by independents and their distribution medium of choice is the web. Web content creators as a group are getting more sophisticated in their use of editing and special effects, the only thing holding them back has been cost. Using stock footage can make a production look big-league, but despite some pretty deceptive subscription practices offered by a few providers out there, using stock footage has continued to be expensive. Not any more.”

www.WorldClips.TV has an extensive collection of 5000 ready-to-use QuickTime clips from 50 world destination easily downloadable from its website.

“Other companies have larger collections from thousands of shooters without a lot of quality control,” continued Isaacson. “I can vouch for the quality of every clip in our collection and I should know, I shot them.”

The stock footage business has been in turmoil of late as lower prices for HD footage has made it difficult for professional shooters and some mid-range distributors to remain economically viable. “What does HD even mean anymore? If I shoot, hand-held, out a window while driving a speeding car, using my iPhone camera, it can be called HD. A hamster can push a camcorder button. What makes a great shot is a great shooter with a great camera, not the format,” Isaacson jokes to make a point. “What we’ve done is repurpose our SD collection, footage that was good enough for 'Oprah,' 'Wheel of Fortune,' 'The Late Show' and '48 Hours' just a few years ago. This is still great footage, but we think it’s best future use is by cost-conscious independents who want to distribute their creations through video upload websites such as YouTube, Vimeo, Blip and others. It’s also a great way for website designers to put some zip in their creations instead of using static still shots.”

www.WorldClips.TV is a division of Isaacson Communications, Inc., a multi-Emmy nominated creator of network and syndicated programming as well as a creator of HD stock footage for many HD aggregators. Gary Isaacson’s exclusive 4K UltraHD footage has just been accepted for representation by Getty Images.
