)-- DBS>Interactive (www.dbswebsite.com) is the recipient of the Gold Louie Award from the Louisville Advertising Federation for its creation and design of the St. James Court Art Show website. The award was presented at the 39th Annual Louie Awards at the Seelbach Hilton February 22nd.
DBS was the lone award winner in the Digital Creative Technology, GPS and Location Technology category.
“The St. James Court Art Show website was designed with responsive design in mind, meaning it is viewable on phones and tablets as well as conventional desktops,” said DBS>Interactive CEO Cyndi Masters. “The mobile site is unique. GPS mapping technology allowed visitors at the art show to use the site in a real world environment, enhancing the experience.”
The website (http://www.stjamescourtartshow.com/) featured information about the nearly 300 artists that took part in the show and included a searchable database which listed artists by booth location or the artists’ medium.
DBS>Interactive’s design was also a national award winner. It took Best in Class from the Interactive Media Council.
