The institution of marriage has been invaded by the epidemics of divorce, adultery, and in some cases abuse. It appears that marriage is at the mercy of persons who are unwilling to capture the true meaning of love, integrity, loyalty, and faithfulness.
Marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God. The intention was for permanence, love, relationship, happiness, and procreation.
Sadly, for some spouses marriage seems to be a life sentence of pain, distress, and constant fear of someone who dominates and abuses.
On another note, with the incidence of infidelity, marriage has been re-defined to pre-nuptial agreements, having someone "special" on the side just in case, or plagued with all kinds of devious arrangements which are obviously alien to God's plan.
Consequently, in order to help troubled relationships, there must be some way to re-capture what held long marriages together. The Marriage Corner is inviting couples who have been married for a decade or more to share experiences on the show.
Let's Talk About Marriage and what can be done to restore its true meaning.
