Brannons Medical Opens Hollister Store

Hollister, CA, September 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Customers needing wheel chairs, scooters, walkers, lift chairs, CPAP machines, aids-for-daily-living, oxygen, diabetic shoes, orthopedic splints & braces, or other home medical equipment will no longer have to travel out of the area when Brannons Medical opens its new Hollister store September 4, 2007.

"We've been caring for south bay area families for over 35 years," Brannons GM & President Jackie Affonso said, "and we are very excited about joining the Hollister community."

While Brannons specializes in providing a broad selection of home medical equipment to its customers, Affonso considers customer education and guidance to be their top priority.

"Healthcare can be very complicated and we strive to help our customers understand what their choices are," Hollister manager Greg McMorrow said. "If customers understand their home medical equipment needs and insurance coverage, we are performing an invaluable service."

Dog lovers will notice a west highland terrier named Murphy featured in Brannons' brand advertising and often present in their main store in San Jose.

"Some of our customers are dealing with challenging health issues where every day can be a struggle. But when they see Murphy either in person or on our advertising material, it brightens their day- -if only for a moment," McMorrow explained.

Murphy may even periodically visit the Hollister staff which consists of a Respiratory Therapist, Driver-Technician, and Customer Service Representatives. The store is located at 193 McCray Street and will initially be open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Changes to the store hours will be made based upon customer needs.
