)-- The personal chronicle of one man's struggles with depression and life itself, "Perfectly Rational Lunacy" is a patchwork of confessional essays and prose poetry. This book of "oxymoronic writings" also includes biographical profiles of Mike Tyson, Marlon Brando, sideshow performer Frances O' Connor, and Orson Welles, as well as musings on such diverse subjects as Abraham Lincoln, Star Trek, Planet of the Apes, Iggy Pop, and Sylvia Plath.
These topics and others are all filtered and distilled through the author's experiences and merciless self-examination.
