London, United Kingdom, September 19, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Established from humble beginnings in 2007, Gardenia Organic has grown into an award winning floral design studio. They’re simply delighted to be expanding on their success in New York and opening their first UK studio back home in lovely London, in September 2013.
Gardenia Organic has been named “Best Florist” by New York Magazine for their original and breathtaking floral arrangements and is often featured in leading fashion magazines. They’ve been on Vogue USA’s “Most Wanted” list several times, their bouquets holding their own amongst Michael Kors handbags and Stella McCartney dresses.
Their designs speak for themselves but it’s their commitment to sustainability that truly sets them apart from the rest of the flower bunch.
Acknowledged by notable sources, including the New York Times, for their commitment to sustainable practices, and certified by environmental bodies, Gardenia Organic was not only the very first florist in New York to make their entire supply chain eco-conscious but they’re the only ones.
If it’s their beautiful work that gets them noticed - Gardenia Organic is the first call for many A-listers, luxury brands and entertainment industry heavy-hitters - it’s their outstanding & discreet customer service that keeps everyone coming back time and time again.
English Rose Arrives, Survives and Thrives in New York
As Founder and Creative Director, Hannah Ling’s amazing reputation is well earned. Her creativity and passion for flowers is equal to her infectious enthusiasm for environmental causes.
This hard working British lady has been embraced by America for her impeccable taste and desire to manifest the visually stunning. She has created a unique and lasting trust which ranks Gardenia Organic at the top of any list of florists. She is now coming home to open Gardenia Organic UK, in London’s uber trendy Soho.
Starting a business in such a fast paced & highly competitive city as New York - with its particularly demanding residents, presented Hannah with a set of business challenges few could appreciate. Manhattan was full of established and recognized florists, many of whom already had a global presence. Distinguishing Gardenia Organic in its infancy within this saturated market and fragile economic climate, Hannah relied on her unique business model to set her apart.
Developing a brand new supply chain sourced solely from vendors who met environmental and fair trading standards, Hannah embarked on a journey to raise awareness of the issues within this $34 billion industry.
Staying True to British Roots, Supporting Local Farms
Gardenia Organic’s UK leg of their journey is set to begin in the heart of London. As you step into their Soho design studio the first thing you will notice is the fragrance of fresh blooms. Not to be taken for granted, it’s a sad but true fact that few flowers sold in the UK these days ever smell of anything. Mass produced on foreign shores before being flown half way across the globe, their natural scent and beauty has little chance to shine through. Gardenia Organic is dedicated to sourcing flowers (and everything else they use) from British producers.
Each of their arrangements is custom designed, using the freshest flowers available on the day of your delivery. Their bouquets are delivered beautifully presented and the packaging is recycled and biodegradable so it can go in the compost along with your stems once you have enjoyed them.
