Albany, NY, October 17, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Singer Xavier White will appear as a defendant on the “Guy Code” courtroom spin-off to prove he didn’t break the laws of guy code.
Rising R&B singer Xavier White is set to appear in the premier season of MTV2’s “Guy Court.” The series is a spin-off of the popular comedy series “Guy Code” which reveals the special code of conduct that exists between men.
The new comedic courtroom series takes guys who break these laws of “guy code” to court -- with cases ranging from from the best friend that dated an ex-girlfriend, to the roommate that refuses to wear deodorant.
In an upcoming episode, White must prove his actions didn’t violate the code, while being defended by his lawyer/comedian Chico Bean, from “Wild ‘N Out.” Comedians Troy Trizzy Tenace, Jéan Lee and Melanie Iglesias are also featured in the episode.
Whether White was deemed innocent or guilty has yet to be revealed, but the sneak peak trailer (at 1:15) shows White clad only in shorts and goggles being doused in honey.
“I was laughing the entire day with never-ending jokes,” said White. “It was so exciting and everyone was amazing.”
“Guy Court” airs Wednesdays on MTV2, beginning November 6 at 11pm EST. Watch the trailer below and stay tuned for more information on White’s air date and his thoughts on the outcome.
