Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa Opens Napa Grill Steak & Seafood, Bin K’iin Lobby Bar

Island resort now boasts four restaurants and three bars.

Cozumel, Mexico, October 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa has expanded its on-property dining experiences with the opening of the sophisticated Napa Grill, presenting the finest in Mediterranean-influenced seafood and dry-aged beef, and the exquisite Bin K’iin Lobby Bar, both with breathtaking views of the Caribbean waters.

With the opening of Napa Grill and the Bin K’iin Lobby Bar, the award-winning resort now boasts four restaurants and three bars.

Open for evening dining, Napa Grill presents a wide variety of steak and seafood specialties, starting with appetizer selections including Crab Tacos, Tamarind Tuna Tartar and Octopus Carpaccio, plus a variety of soups and salads. Its Entrée selections include the Caribbean Shrimp Skewer, a jumbo shrimp skewer dressed with a sweet and sour sauce, onions and peppers, Baked Tuna Rack and a Surf and Turf with premium Caribbean Lobster and Filet Mignon. Seafood specialties include Mahi Mahi and a Grilled Caribbean Lobster while New York Strip, Filet Mignon and Prime Boneless Rib Eye round out the restaurant’s dry-aged beef choices.

As the evening winds down, guests can enjoy the all-new lobby bar Bin K’iin (Mayan for “sunset”), a comfortable spot to unwind and chat with friends while enjoying fine-crafted martinis and Tapas-style appetizers.

The resort’s two new experiences join the renovated Alfredo di Roma, a longtime favorite, where dishes combine the tastes of Northern Italy with fresh seafood delicacies and the authentic Fettuccini Alfredo. Open for evening dining, Alfredo di Roma also features an extensive selection of domestic and international wines housed in its wine cellar, the largest in Cozumel.

The resort’s other dining experiences include casual, all-day oceanfront dining in El Caribeño Restaurant and Bar under a giant, open-air palapa; a new, light lunch menu offered in the beachfront Caña Brava Grill; and flavorful beverages and cocktails served in the poolside Sayab Bar.

Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa, located on a half mile of white sandy beach and just steps from one of the world’s largest coral reef systems, also features the Mandara Spa; snorkeling and scuba diving excursions through its in-house PADI dive shop, Scuba Du.

Among its many accolades, Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa has been named one of the “Top 20 Resorts in Mexico” in Travel + Leisure Magazine’s World’s Best Awards readers’ survey. It also has been recognized as a Fodor’s Choice 2013 selection and one of the few hotels named to Expedia’s 2013 Insiders’ Select™ list.
