)-- A recent survey has now confirmed that freelancers and self-employed contractors work more than full-time employees. The survey was conducted by the international IT-project platform freelancermap.com which asked its users about their regular workload as freelancers.
60% of the participants stated that they are facing more workload as a freelancer than in their previous full-time employment. In turn, 31% of the interviewed freelancers predicated the opposite and confirmed to work less than full-time employees. Another 9% of the participants could not make a statement as they never have worked as a full-time employee before.
