San Francisco, CA, April 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival is said to be the second largest festival outside of Washington, D.C. to celebrate the blooming of cherry blossoms and held at the oldest of three remaining Japantowns in the United States.

The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival, produced by Sakura Matsuri, Inc., draws over 225,000 attendees and claims to be the second largest festival, outside of Washington, D.C. in celebrate the blooming of cherry blossoms. The Festival is held at the oldest of three remaining Japantowns in the United States.

Festival attendees are invited to join in the festivities, which will be in full swing by 11 a.m. each day of the two-weekend celebration on April 12-13, 19-20. The Grand Parade will be held on Sunday, April 20. Most events are free.
