Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore to Honor Local Role Models

Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore set to honor several individuals and organizations at its annual Women of Distinction & Community Partner's Gala.

Toms River, NJ, February 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore will pay tribute to a select group of individuals and organizations during its annual Women of Distinction & Community Partners Gala, sponsored by Investors Bank, on March 7th at Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ.

Dr. June Duck, CentraState Healthcare; Mary Ann Larkin, Stillwell-Hansen Inc.; Kathleen Mead, Investors Bank; Junior Girl Scout Troop 1701; and Holiday Express, Tim McLoone exemplify the Girl Scout mission of building courage, confidence and character through their personal and professional achievements.

“As an organization dedicated to providing girls with the tools and opportunities necessary to grow into strong, independent women, we recognize the importance of having role models to pave the way,” said Susan H.
