One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment Trains Food Managers and Handlers with ServSafe

)-- One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment proudly announces it is hosting ServSafe classes and testing. The classes prepare restaurant managers and food handlers in food and beverage safety. Florida law requires that there is at least one certified manager per facility. Every three years, food service employees must be trained on food handling and hygiene.
Classes and testing will be held during the following dates and times:
March 15 11:00 a.m.
March 17 11:00 a.m.
April 5 11:00 a.m.
American Culinary Federation member Chef Jeff Rotz will be teaching the ServSafe classes. ServSafe is a training and certification program. Major topics to be covered in the program include foodborne illnesses, foodborne pathogens and biological toxins, and systems of food management. Chef Rotz will also be fitting students for professional chef attire. The classes will be held at One Fat Frog's new headquarters.
One Fat Frog was originally located in Sanford and recently expanded due to an exciting increase in inventory and employees. Also referred to as "The Frog," it is known for its easygoing and friendly atmosphere. The company moved to its new 100,000 square foot facility in September. One Fat Frog buys, sells and trades new and used restaurant equipment. It equips restaurants, bakeries, pizzerias, bars, food trucks and more. The Frog is continuously working to improve in its relationships and programs to appeal to all aspects of the food industry.
