Los Angeles, CA, February 21, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Due to unanticipated growth, Golden State FIRE EMS is now recruiting firefighter/EMT's and firefighter/paramedics to fill its employment roster for 2014 and beyond. With the recent addition of Captain Terry Bowen to its command and operations staff, the company is aggressively expanding to take more market share in the Southern California region with support from several state and local agencies.
In keeping with the company vision, current and active firefighters are being sought. These are individuals who are already trained and certified firefighters working for a municipal fire department. In years past the roster has included staff representing LAFD, LACFD, OCFA and CALFIRE to name a few. Many companies hire EMT's working for inter-facility transport companies which can be problematic for a host of reasons not to mention increased liability.
The company has for the past 8 years been involved in providing EMS support to large events and movie productions in an around the state of California. As of 2014, the company has created two new divisions that provide community and movie studio fire protection services as well as a new brush clearance/abatement unit. It was decided that in order to pull away from an overcrowded field of of at least 30 competitors in the event and motion picture segment, the company would need to expand its services to include the two new divisions. The news has been positive and inquiries are coming in daily.
The company under its new management and direction has secured a contract to provide fire and EMS to what is being billed as the largest 3 day festival to be held in San Luis Obsipo, CA with crowds estimated at over 10,000 to 12,000 attendees. Golden State FIRE EMS will be providing 24 hour coverage at this event and will be joined by other agencies to ensure safety.
