World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation Acquires Welcome to Eden Documentary, with Daryl Hannah, Willie Nelson, Joan Baez

Los Angeles, CA, March 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation (formerly OTCBB:WWMO) has acquired exclusive distribution rights for the feature-length documentary Welcome to Eden. Directed by Michael McGreevey and written by Sean Patrick, this special interest show tells the inspiring story about a small patch of land that was preserved in gratitude of the local South Central Los Angeles community. Featuring Daryl Hannah, Joan Baez, and Willie Nelson, these celebrity activists join in the uplifting story of how passions unite to fight and protest for The Farm’s survival.

Following the LA Riots in the 1990s, the local community was left in turmoil and a 14-acre urban farm reinforced a positive outlook for the future. After an enriching 15 years of working and developing the oasis, it was then taken from the farmers with plans to demolish the land in place of a giant retail space. With a community already united, the film illustrates the mass amount of support contributed in creating the thriving natural farmland that was born. After a final eviction notice was given, The Farm’s 360 workers refused to leave, holding fasting declarations, tree sit-ins, and defiantly camping out. The occupation grew headlines and people flocked to join the encampment.

“World Wide is thrilled to gain acquisition and distribution rights for Welcome to Eden to expand its recognition and share this compelling story with a broader audience and market. We plan to continue to search for documentaries like Welcome to Eden to share with its followers stories about truly impressive humanitarian and environmental freedom fighters,” President/CEO Paul Hancock states.
