Mohab Ibrahim a Southern Nevada Pain Management Physician Receives Board Certification

Dr. Mohab Ibrahim of Pain Center of Nevada is now board certified pain management specialist.

Las Vegas, NV, March 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Mohab Ibrahim, PhD, MD, has been board certified in pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Ibrahim is also a board certified anesthesiologist.

Ibrahim operates Pain Center of Nevada, a medical practice specializing in pain management and anesthesiology. His office is located in the St. Rose San Martin Hospital medical office building at 8285 W. Arby Avenue, Suite 175.

Dr. Ibrahim has been interested in studying chronic pain throughout his entire medical education and career. He engaged in chronic pain research at the department of Anesthesiology at the University of Arizona and obtained both a Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in the field of Pharmacology and Toxicology focusing on neuropathic and chronic pain.

To further his research and continue his education in pain, Dr. Ibrahim achieved his MD at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed a General Surgery internship at the University of Arizona Medical Center. Dr. Ibrahim then joined The Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical College in Boston for a Residency in Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. Following his residency he was accepted at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical College as a clinical pain fellow.
