AAXA Technologies Announces a Brilliant 70 Lumen Pocket Projector That Lets Media be Spontaneously Shared

AAXA's P3X Pico Projector features 70 Lumens, a 2-hour battery, and plenty of inputs for all your devices to project up to 80" images.

Tustin, CA, March 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- AAXA Technologies a global leader in pico projection technology is excited to announce the release of the AAXA P3X Pico Projector. The AAXA P3X Pico Projector is a brilliant 70 lumen mini projector built around AAXA Technologies third generation DLP optical engine. Featuring pint-sized optics powered by 15,000 hour light-emitting diodes the AAXA P3X is capable of producing a powerful 80” image (in dark areas) at a WVGA 854x480 native resolution. The P3X is a marvel of optical projection technology and achieves an amazing 20 lumens per watt while reducing optical engine volume by over 80% compared to previous generation models. The end result is a smaller, slimmer micro projector that buts big-screen performance directly into the pocket or purse.

Portable Media Power House

The AAXA P3X is a pico projector that lets users spontaneously share photos, videos, or other digital media with friends and colleagues. With its powerful ARM based MP4 Media Player and built in speakers the P3X is capable of playing 720P media files, digital pictures, and MP3 music directly without the need to connect another device. Storage capabilities include a Micro SD Card slot and USB port meaning your digital message can be loaded directly onto the P3X projector.

2 Hour Lithium Ion Battery

The P3X features a robust rechargeable lithium-ion battery built directly into the projector meaning no clumsy external batteries to worry about. Battery Operating life is 2 hours per a charge and an external DC power supply enables continuous non-stop operation when external power is present.

Smart Device Connectivity

Connectivity options include a HDMI port which enables connectivity to most mobile devices including smartphones, notebooks, cameras, and other mobile accessories. Additional connectivity options include an AV port, 3.5mm audio output, USB port, and Micro SD Card slot. In other words the P3X Pico Projector is a standalone projection powerhouse that is capable of being connected to your smart device.

AAXA's core technology is based on small LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) imagers mated to LED (light emitting diode) and Laser light-sources that makes micro projectors and pico sized projectors possible. In 2010 AAXA launched the world's first laser pico projector and today remains a leader in mini-projector technology. AAXA holds several patents in optical and LCoS designs and manufactures the majority of its products in China, with core technological development occurring in both the Silicon Valley, California and China.
