Norfolk Academy to Host the Second Annual Lax for Love Event in Honor of Yeardley Love

On Saturday, April 5, Norfolk Academy will host the second annual Lax for Love event to support the One Love Foundation and to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, a lacrosse player for the University of Virginia who was the victim of relationship violence. Games begin at 9:00 a.m. at Norfolk Academy and will continue into the afternoon.

Norfolk, VA, April 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, April 5, Norfolk Academy will host the second annual Lax for Love event in honor of Yeardley Love, a lacrosse player for the University of Virginia who was the victim of relationship violence. Norfolk Academy girls’ varsity lacrosse coach Blair Weymouth, one of Yeardley’s teammates at UVA, conceived of and helped organize this community event to support the One Love Foundation. The One Love Foundation was established in 2010 by Sharon and Lexie Love, as well as additional family and friends to honor the memory of Yeardley Reynolds Love. The mission of the One Love Foundation is to end relationship violence through education and technology. (www.joinonelove.org). Sharon Love will be an honored guest at Saturday's Lax for Love event.
