Both memberships levels are eligible to book the venue for private events upon advance reservation.
RSFMS&C owner Charles C. Butler, remarks, “I’m particularly enthusiastic about this new project; it not only provides a venue where classic and luxurious automobiles can be stored in a pristine, secure environment, but also a private social center for car enthusiasts who embrace the automotive lifestyle; as far as I’m aware, we’re the first facility of this kind in San Diego and as such, our venture will fill a unique niche. Regardless of the type of car owner our club attracts --- those who covet a classic roadster to others who favor a present-day Ferrari --- all will share camaraderie with fellow car aficionados. Our General Manager, Dean Liebowitz, has over 20 years experience in the classic automotive industry and utilizes his extensive knowledge of pre-war, post-war and exotic vehicles in his position as Board Member and Honorary Committee Member for the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance. He adds comprehensive automotive expertise to our team and will be instrumental in developing exclusive events for our members.”
Hagerty, the nationally recognized preeminent classic car insurance company, is insuring the entire property. Hagerty specializes in insurance for antique and vintage autos, classic and wooden boats and protects more than 850,000 vehicles worldwide. “One of the safest places to store your collector car is at a secure facility specifically designed for extraordinary vehicles of all makes and models,” said Ryan Barker, the Southern California manager for Hagerty. “Not only does every member have mutual respect for each other’s cars but this type of environment also provides a social destination for fellow members to learn about other cars and exchange technical information.” Visit www.hagerty.com or call 800-747-5348.
Additional fee-based services are available to all RSFMS&C members including: auto detailing; “White Glove” transport service; long-term storage preparation; valet service and additional concierge services. Each member has the option to utilize the luxury lounge area and participate in the club events including social gatherings and rallies that are hosted by RSFMS&C and its membership.
