CIF Continues Its Development and Completed the Expansion of Its Plant in Tangier

To answer customers' request of new packaging products, CIF has invested in an expansion project of its plant, constructing an additional 2,500 m² of warehouse space.

Tangier, Morocco, April 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- As part of its development strategy, the Compagnie Industrielle des Fibres, one of the Moroccan leader in the manufacturing and distribution of packaging products, among the 200 fastest growing companies in Morocco, has finalized the expansion of its plant in Tangier.

Already located on a plot of 50,000 m2 and with a workforce of approximately 750 people, the Compagnie Industrielle des Fibres has an annual production capacity of hundreds of millions of bags and thousands of tons of agricultural twine. True to its policy of innovation, CIF has inaugurated a new warehouse with an area of ​​2,500 m2 to house its new product references.

Since its opening in 1951, the Compagnie Industrielle des Fibres has continued to make significant investments: infrastructure, machines, men, R & D... Concentrate on the Moroccan market until 2009, the company began exports, first to the Europe and to West Africa, Latin America, the United States... from 23% in 2013, exports are expected to reach 30% of sales in 2014.

This extension could be followed by the purchase of a middle ground, will enable the company to achieve its goal of sales at the end of 2014 and continue to grow 10% per year.
