Free Expo Encourages Successful Entrepreneurship

Chicago, IL, May 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The fear of “Pink Slip” Friday looms in the minds of many employees. Most of us are groomed to earn a living through traditional employment. In these economic conditions, some are considering business ownership or some other form of self employment but simply don’t have the information to take the first step. The Self Employment Expo provides the foundation and resources for aspiring Entrepreneurs.

The Self Employment Expo on May 24, 2014 is the only event of its kind. It brings together a myriad of self employment options such as direct sell, franchise and business ownership as well as products and services for the Small Business Owner. Additionally, they provide training, seminars and workshops that span topics from self publishing to to Financial Preparedness. The Exhibit Hall and all seminars are free to attend. We are also pleased to announce the 2014 Expo will give aspiring Entrepreneurs a chance to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges for a chance to win $200 cash on the spot.

The Self Employment Expo is the brainchild of Darlene Tate. She created the Self Employment Expo to provide a free event that demonstrates the legitimate options available to secure an income independent of traditional employment.
