World Financial Information Conference Slated for October 4-7, 2015 in New Orleans

Global financial information industry leaders to tackle top issues and priorities.

Washington, DC, June 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Financial Information Services Division (FISD) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) today announced that it will host its 12th biennial World Financial Information Conference (WFIC) October 4-7, 2015 in New Orleans. The conference will bring together hundreds of financial information industry leaders from over 38 countries for three and a half days of dialogue on the challenges facing the industry in a post-global recession world.

The World Financial Information Conference is the only global event that focuses exclusively on issues associated with dissemination, management and use of financial information.

Michael Connor, CEO of MNI/Deutsche Börse said, “I have had the opportunity to attend WFIC several times and each time I have received great value from the sessions and the networking. For senior professionals in the financial information space there is no better opportunity to get current on important issues facing the industry. Combine this with the chance for interaction with many of the key players from vendors, exchanges and user firms and you have the best industry gathering available.”

"WFIC is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together industry professionals from around the globe, to facilitate communication about issues and topics that are affecting the financial information services industry," noted Tom Davin, Managing Director of FISD. "One of our chief goals in hosting this conference is to ensure participants are positioned for future growth in this volatile and increasingly competitive environment. Delegates to WFIC benefit through the knowledge they garner and the relationships they build."

For the 2015 event, FISD welcomes back the Deutsche Bӧrse Group as the Platinum Sponsor and Thomson Reuters as a Gold Sponsor.
