Herman Cain to Speak at the H.O.P.E. Park First Annual Gala

McDonough, GA, July 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Southern Crescent Sports Foundation (SCSF) is pleased to announce that Herman Cain will be the guest speaker at the H.O.P.E. Park Inaugural Gala benefiting H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Excel) Park. The Gala will take place on September 6, 2014 at the Airport Sheraton in Atlanta.

H.O.P.E. Park, when completed, will be a 26 acre park with something for everyone. There will be eight ball fields. One of these ball fields will be a competitive wheelchair softball field to help reintegrate wounded veterans and citizens back into competitive sports. It will double as a baseball field for children and adults with special needs to play ball in a safe environment. A 30,000 square foot all accessible playground will be next to the ball field. This playground has been designed to assist in motor skill, vestibular, coordination, core strength, proprioceptive and sensory development, and cooperative play for children while having a great time. The playground will benefit our wounded veterans who have traumatic brain injuries with development skills that they have to relearn as part of their healing process.

Suit and tie are required at the dinner. Back tie is optional. For more information, to purchase tickets or table sponsorships, go to www.hopeparkgala.com.
