)-- Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Sabrina Guerin received the Paralegal of the Year Award from the Gulf Coast Paralegal Association, held at their Annual Paralegal Appreciation Night held at the Hilton in Naples.
Guerin began her legal career as a receptionist with Henderson Franklin 28 years ago. She then worked in the accounting department and became a secretary to the legal assistants in the Estate Planning department. Guerin continued her education by attending Edison Community College (n/k/a Florida SouthWestern State College) and obtained her Associate in Arts degree and her Associate in Science Degree in Legal Assisting. In 1996, she was promoted to a paralegal in the Estate Planning department.
Guerin obtained her paralegal certification as a Certified Legal Assistant through National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). She is also a Florida Registered Paralegal. Guerin continues her education at seminars and conferences to maintain her CLA/CP and FRP designations.
Guerin serves as a member of the Florida SouthWestern State College’s Paralegal Studies Advisory Committee which assists with the American Bar Association’s certification of the College’s curriculum.
