A New Earth Friendly Phone Charging Solution Has Emerged on the Summer Music Festival Scene

Atlanta, GA, July 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Harnessing the power of the sun has allowed Solar-Go Productions to take on the long ignored problem of keeping devices charged during long festival weekends.

Solar-Go Productions is advancing the music festival experience by bringing fun- loving music fans an easier way to keep their devices charged during festivals. Thousands of people camping en masse in a large field with no electricity always begs the question “where can I charge my phone?” With so much to see and experience at a music festival, it is only natural that a whole generation of people would like to keep tweeting, Instagraming, posting photos and videos, or even the more useful phone capabilities, like making calls or texting to find your friends. Previous solutions to this issue have been as archaic as anything from a pole full of power outlets to a portable charger full of AAA batteries. The most commonly used method has been for festival patrons to sit in their running cars with their phones plugged in, wasting precious moments of their lives and precious dollars from their wallets, and waiting for that glorious moment when their phone is finally charged.

In response to this growing problem SGP has created a solar powered, free standing, mobile unit they call Sun SPECK (Solar Powered Electronic Charging Kiosk). Their crazy looking sideways house uses a unique “solar system” to charge thousands of re-usable power banks. These power banks allow for quick charging on the go, which enables patrons to not only charge their phone quickly and efficiently, but because they can keep the product for almost infinite future uses, there is virtually no waste. For the first time festival fans can charge their phones from their pockets, which means virtually no wasting time.

Solar-Go Productions has just returned from their Phone Charging Sponsorship adventure at Electric Forest, a sold out festival that took place the end of June 2014 in Rothbury, Michigan. They also recently brought their green charging solution to The Hudson Music Project in Saugerties, New York on July 11-13 and then on to Gathering of the Vibes on July 31- Aug 3 on the Seaside Park in Bridgeport Connecticut. These festivals are both establishing a reputation for applying “waste free” greening initiatives to their events this year.

Jay Hoey, the CEO of Solar-Go Productions says that the company is looking into teaming up with other festival sponsors that are interested in utilizing the unique sustainable energy Solar Phone Charging SUN SPECK and the experienced team of solar experts and festival professionals for future festival venues. “We have developed this “one-of-a-kind”, solar, sustainable, green and very efficient configuration of processes, people and products that supplies festival management a competent way of having the patrons charge their phones and the festival clientele are very excited about as well,” explained Mr. Hoey.
