Springfield, MO, August 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Register early to hear international author/speaker John C. Maxwell via live simulcast on October 10th at the Springfield Expo Center. Maxwell has trained over 5 million leaders worldwide, having spoken to diverse audiences such as Fortune 500 companies, United States Military Academy at West Point, National Football League, and the United Nations. Rated as the number one leadership expert for six consecutive years by INC magazine, Maxwell will be speaking on his newest book “Good Leaders Ask Great Questions.” “Questions are the key that unlocks most of the doors of opportunity in your life,” states Maxwell.

The content-filled morning from 7:30am-12:00pm will also include time with Linda Kaplan Thaler (creator of the duck for Aflac) – “How Ordinary People Become Extraordinary”, and Tim Sanders (Yahoo executive) – “People Centric Tools for Success.”

Seventy-five percent (75%) of the net proceeds will be invested in young Springfield women in crisis to set them on a path to success, which is a direct fulfillment of the mission of AFM, host of the event. Not only will Springfield's leaders grow personally and professionally from the leadership training, but proceeds will enable AFM 501(c)(3) to fulfill their objectives to provide preventative support, treatment support and transitional support through housing, education and any other means that would be needed to aid in stabilizing women into the community.

Early bird registration is open now through September 30th for $99 at www.L2.JohnMaxwell.com or www.afm-change.org. From October 1st – October 10th, general admission will be $129.
