The black opal necklace is high domed and weighs approximately 7 karats, bezel-set on a milegrained and pierced platinum frame set with diamonds and suspended from a platinum and 14 karat, white gold, 17 ½ inch long diamond chain. Overall, the entire necklace holds forty-seven diamonds that total 1.50 carats.
Another item in the collection is a spectacular mid-20th century engagement ring set that is comprised of a diamond solitaire set with a 4.41karat round diamond that is flanked by a pair of large baguette diamonds and two diamond baguette ring guards that nestle under the larger diamond. Mounted in platinum, the piece makes a spell binding statement regarding the glamour of the 1950’s.
The New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will be held at The Metropolitan Pavilion 125 W. 18th Street, New York, NY 10011 on Friday from 1:00 pm -7:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; and Monday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
