San Diego, CA, October 26, 2007 --(PR.com)-- TOAST Personal Chef & Catering Services recently participated as a sponsor at the biggest San Diego Hire A Hero networking event. Over 150 military personnel attended the event on October 18th in a warehouse on Mission Gorge Road. Hire A Hero is a web based community with a mission to help the military community network and find quality careers. The goal of the event was to link the military and business community through networking. The event was very successful with coverage by CNN, KUSI and ABC news.

“This is one way we can say thank you and give back to the military personnel,” explains Sam Behnam Chef/owner of TOAST. “I was thrilled to see the excitement and appreciation of some people when eating the Ahi Poke hors d’oeuvres. These are people who were born in Hawaii or were based there for many years. So it was a big honor to provide them with food that they really appreciated.” Sam Behnam and his wife Kim Behnam both donated their time and offered finger foods at cost.
